Reports confirm that AMD would be launching its Execution Section Pitcairn based Radeon HD7870 and HD7850 expressed cards in February 2020, A month late after the set up of the High End Tahiti XT/Pro Series Card game which arrive in Jan 2020.

The Pitcairn XT/In favor of based Graphics Cards would supercede the Barts XT/In favour of based HD6850/HD6870 while offering performance similar to the HD6970/HD6950. HD7870 and HD7850 would feature the 28nm VLIW4 Architecture instead of the GNC (Graphics Incoming Gist) which would only be available on the higher end Tahiti Series.

HD7870 (Pitcairn XT):
